Watch doesnt work

Every time I respond to a watch notification, I end up waiting before realizing the authorization will never go through. Then I try to launch the okta verify app on my watch, but it often has no codes visible. Lastly, I pull out my phone, which no longer shows the notification on the lock screen because I "responded" on my watch. So I have to go all the way into the app to accept the authorization request. The simplicity is great when it works, but in my experience, it hardly ever works. Extremely embarrassing if Im running a meeting and attempt to authorize via watch. People start to criticize the Apple Watch, even though its Oktas fault.
