Push not working with Apple Watch

When I first started using the app, I loved that I could accept and authorization request from my phone’s lock screen. Then I got an Apple Watch. At first, it seemed to work very well. I was able to to accept or decline requests very easily. However, (potentially due to an automatic update) now I find myself getting the push on my Apple Watch, pressing the “accept” button, but nothing happens. I have to either respond to the push notification on my phone, or navigate to the six-digit code in the app on either my watch or my phone.
